Harness the power of the sacred Maori dance.
The Haka is the mighty war cry of Marori warriors a unified display of strength and prowess certain to intimidate even the bravest opposition. The Haka was made famous by the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team, as they perform facing their opponents prior to each match. But beyond a challenge or war cry this ancient sacred dance is performed to celebrate special occasions or welcome important guests.
In Haka Action, guided by high energy facilitators participants learn words, meanings and actions of the Haka before coordinating their actions in a spine-tingling group performance. Haka Action can be held indoors or outdoors, during a staff day out or as a conference icebreaker or as part of a teambuilding day.
Haka Action is great leveller allowing all participants to physically engage without feeling uncomfortable. In Haka Action participants are encouraged to release their inhibitions and have an open-minded attitude. In this supportive, shared environment participants are able to unleash their creative and emotive expression.
Haka Action leaves participants feeling fresh and invigorated, united together through shared experience. Larger groups can be split into one or more teams for a competitive Haka experience. Which team is the loudest? Which team has the most passion?
Haka Action got everyone up off their feet, energized, laughing and smiling.
